About

The LIBRARIAN MOLLY website is committed to helping educators, librarians, parents, and students find books and resources to help foster independent reading and learning. With a focus on literature for children and young adults, the goal is that the information here will play a small part in developing lifelong readers who engage with the magic of stories.

Molly’s nose has been in a book since she was old enough to hold one, so she naturally became a librarian. After studying English Literature, Molly discovered a passion for youth literature and connecting with young people through books, so she went on to earn an MLIS degree specializing in K-12 School Library Media.

Molly has worked professionally as a youth librarian in a public library, a K-12 digital media teacher, and a school library media specialist at both the middle and high school levels. Molly now uses her experience to connect with booksellers, teachers, and other librarians as a youth literature consultant while also teaching high school English and working as a freelance editor.
